RI Welcome Center A first impression should be a lasting one. In the case of the RI Visitors' Center, it could be the difference between stopping to savor all that our state has to offer, or just driving through. That's why our client entrusted Renaissance to design and produce an array of stunning visuals that would not only stop tourists, but also entice them to stay for a while. In order to accomplish this, we created a variety of colorful graphics that would give the traveler a sample of the culture, history and beauty of our state.
backlit We incorporated representative photos from Rhode Island communities and a satellite image of the state to produce this backlit. The photos also appeared on individual sintra panels particular to each community. the aesthetic was further tied together with color strips and logo treatments common to all pieces.
sintra panels Each community is represented by regional photos and an assigned color accompanied by textured strips unique to each.
vinyl banner The banner directly above the entrance to the Welcome Center ties all of the previous elements together into one giant travel postcard from rhode Island.
At Renaissance we have the expertise you need to make your tradeshow, display, or banner a success. Our Vutek printer was the first of its kind in New England, and can print on almost any surface. Take a look in our portfolio and see what we can do for you.

Rolling billboards. In order to promote local business and events, buses were turned into rolling billboards. Images were printed on adhesive backed vinyl, then mounted to panels and attached to the sides and rear of the vehicles. Some of the advertisers include: Telemundo (a Cox cable Spanish language channel), Dunkin Donuts, The Lukemia Society. These are replaced on a quarterly basis.
History is more important to our future than it is to our past. In order to transport someone back in time, you need to grab their attention, then pull them in. One of the easiest ways to accomplish this is by using a mix of period images and informational text. Pieces were printed on 80"x96" 'vinyl wallcovering', then attached to portable displays using wallpaper paste. This project involved coordination between our client, Renaissance staff and the display fabricators in order to meet the scheduled opening of the exhibit
Renaissance is proud to work with local, regional and national clients of all sizes...
American Jewish Historical Society exhibit "From Haven to Home"

backlit Direct printed onto 1/4" polycarbonate using our PressVu UV 200/600 digital printer.
sintra panels Direct printed onto 1/4" PVC sheet using our PressVu UV200/600 digital printer. Spacers were fabricated in-house in order to mount graphics 2" away from wall.

Bigger is better! Client required large images as backdrops for a weekend sales meeting. Oversized banners were printed in two pieces on poly-cotton media and seamed together to create 8'x10' graphics. A total of twenty-six banners were produced and delivered within 48 hours.
Centennial. The client requested a sign to commemorate their 100th Anniversary that would also introduce them to regional customers. What better way to accomplish this than by using an oversize backlit image, then displaying it at the state airport. This was printed onto backlit film using our HP Designjet 5000, then rear mounted to 1/4" acrylic.
See the flavor. This sign was produced to promote a new vendor at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. The client needed a sign that looked as good as their product tasted. Renaissance reproduced one of their labels, supersized it, then direct printed it onto 1/4" pvc sheet. This was installed at the vendor's site.
Provide constantly updated ad signage for a high traffic venue. A variety of materials were used to promote client products and services, including vinyl banners and Backlit signs. Internal and event promotional items were also produced. Short-term leasing of advertising space requires quick turnaround. Some of the advertisers include CVS, RIPTA, WBRU, INSKIP and LA-Z-BOY.
circus banner Image was printed onto three pieces of vinyl, then stitched together to create a 10'x40' banner. Grommets and cables were used to suspend the image on the building. This was then displayed on the outside of the Dunkin Donuts Center for three months.
seating section banners Direct printed onto matte vinyl, front and back, using our PressVu UV200/600 digital printer. Pole pockets were created top and bottom using banner tape. These were then installed by Dunkin Donuts Center employees using existing hardware.
backlit Direct printed onto 1/8" white polycarbonate using our Pressvu UV 200/600 digital printer.
scoreboard Direct printed onto 3/16" clear polycarbonate using our PressVu UV200/600 digital printer. A translucent backer was then applied to the finished piece to properly diffuse light. Images were installed by Dunkin Donuts Center employees.
Gallery punk. One of our many talented staff members had an exhibit of his work at a local gallery. He needed to have approximately 50 photos printed, matted and framed. Images were printed using our Noritsu digital photo printer. Mattes and glass were cut in-house, then assembled into precut frames. The show of punk-rock legends was a hit, even generating quite a few sales of the photographer's pieces.
